Thanks a lot for taking your time to answer, well I am able to extract the driver using i6comp.exe (perhaps you can use that for your device, makes it possible to extract the data .cab files) Makes me able to get all the driver files, and I am able to place them in the inf folder, that installs the driver, but since it is a plug and play device it will request administrator acces when it is plugged in to install the cam. (at least the ways I tried). If I run a silent install the driver gets install but still asks for a few next's when the device is plugged in, and I forgot to mention that my users is "Domain Users" and nothing else. So they don't have the rights to install anything.

Hi there, first explanation of my situation Have a few 2003 standard edition servers running domain controllers RIS and what ever. Software deployment through group policies. Now for the past few weeks students have enjoyed to change the logon options at the logon screen so the "local machine name" is selected instead of the domain. Is it possible to remove the drop down box, or remove the local machine name? Yes the local administrator account is disabled, but people change it to annoy the other people, so they can't login. (We are running Windows XP). Further more, we have a few Sony MiniDV cameras, but they want to be able to attach those cameras to all computers at the school. Install with Microsofts "Driver Installation Tools 2.01" Still haven't been able to find a working solution, would like to be able to either install them directly with the RIS server, or by group policy somehow.
