I'm Running Windows XP with the latest patches up till 10 April 2006 and I get an error with IE 6. When moving the Internet Explorer window the cursor turns into a black move cursor and will not change back without going to the mouse properties and changing it. This is very annoying. You cannot re-size the IE window either. The problem happened when the validation tool was installed for Windows Updates. Things which have been done are: Ran windows update and installed all current patches Uninstalled IE and reinstalled it, although it never fully uninstalls IE anyway. Ran virus scanner f-prot with the latest dictionaries, no viruses found Ran Search and Destroy with latest dictionaries only three Spyware applications found/removed. If I access IE through by entering a URL into My Computer we don't have a problem. What should I try next?
