  1. Here's my problem. I set up my first slipstreamed disc last week, put all the hotfixes and critical updates up until Feb 13 on it (that is, I put ALL of the updates on the disc). I install a fresh copy of Windows, updates and all no problem. Computer is running beautiful. The problem comes from when I get off of spring break and back into my schools dorms. At school here, every computer is required to log on to this program called Cisco Clean Access Agent (basically, this program authenticates the client computer, making sure it has all the necessary updates, anti-virus, etc before allowing it to connect to the schools network). Thing is, Clean Access can't tell that I have all the critical updates, and when I try to log in, it prompts me to go to Windows Update and get all the necessary fixes. If I do go to Windows Update, it tells me there are no updates for my system. What I want to know, is there a way I can uninstall the critical updates and hotfixes that I had slipstreamed onto the Windows disc so that I can go back and update them the old fashioned way? Worst case scenario, I call home, get my XP CD key and find someone elses Windows disc and reinstall Windows again, but frankly, I'd really rather not reformat my hard drive again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
