  1. I have a few queries (!), not sure if they are possible via an Unnattended CD but that is what they are for. I would like to do the following: 1) Change the Favorites folder location. They are on my E drive (E:\Favorites). 2) Change the My Documents folder to just E:\ 3) How can I stop the Create User Screen from appearing during setup? I have a useraccounts.cmd file that creates my account automatically, as an administrator account (I think). 4) As with no 3, can that whole section be skipped? I don't want to activate windows, i don't want it to check for Internet connectivitity etc... Many thanks
  2. Thanks to all who replied . The problem was due to me using a modified ntoskrnl.exe file. Once I replaced it with the original, it continued setup no problem I think there was an OEMkrnl method at one time? I'll have a dig around for it. Thanks again
  3. I am using an ntoskrnl.exe I used in SP1/SP1a. I'm also using the modified uxtheme.dll too. Is it the ntoskrnl.exe file causing the problem? If so, is there a utility that will make the boot splash SP2 compatible? Thanks for the help, it's much appreciated.
  4. I have made my first XP SP2 unattended CD but fails on the first reboot. It comes back with: Error loading c:\windows\system32\ntfs.sys - file is missing or corrupt. (Something along those lines) This message appears just after it says 'Press any key to boot from CDROM...' I have redownloaded the SP2 Update and applied it several times to make sure it wasn't corrupt and the ntfs.sys file is there. I am using VirtualPC to test. Is there a solution? PS - I'd like to personally say well done to the people in this forum who make some great utilities to help make the Unattended CD's. I'm sure there are many others who appreciate the work they do too. Keep it up! Thanks
  5. I've seen various posts about integrating RAID drivers into the XPCD to stop 'F6' being needed. I'm trying to integrate the ITE 8212 RAID drivers into the CD. I downloaded the latest XPCREATE (I'm only using the program to integrate the drivers, nothing else ). I also downloaded the latest CAB file that supports the controller. OEMDrivers path has been updated also. However, it doesn't work and I'm hoping someone could clarify. This is a bit of my WINNT.SIF: OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\RAIDCTRL;Drivers\nvidia\GART;Drivers\nvidia\IDE;Drivers\nvidia\MemCtl" Also note, that the drivers for the controller are also in the Drivers folder as well as the RAIDCTRL folder. Unless anyone knows of another program that will integrate the drivers, I'm a bit stuck. Or maybe I have missed something? XP setup just tells me there are no hard drives attached to the computer. Using the Gigabyte GA-7NNXP board. Can anyone help? Thanks
