hi I have three games i have been trying to play for like 3 days now and cant seem to get them to work i keep getting this error (this application has failed to start because D3DX9_27.DLL was not found. reinstaling the application may gid of the problem, i have tried reinstalling multiple times to no avail. then when i tried to install lord of the rings the battle for middle earth 2 it wouldnt let me install until i installed directx 9c when i tried a soon as i tried to install it flashed on the screen all components installed and ready for use but when i ran dxdiag it still showed 9b as being the installed version. i have been tearing my hair out trying to fix this i really dont know that much about computers so ive been doing the best i can so if any one can help me it would be greatly appreciated. ps: i am curently runing xp sp2 not fully updated because the last time i updated i blue screened so if there is a way around it with out getting fully updated that would be great
