I have already done that and went through all the wiring to the mthrbrd. I have considered maybe the wire to the 2nd hd might have gone bad but i dont have anouther one right now. what about the consideration that maybe its is locked or hidden some how?

Im kinda new at some stuff...what i need to know is if my hard drive has failed.... I have 2 164g hard drives-4 partitions each. the first one is running fine and a week ago both were fine. but i kinda maxed out the 2 hard drive a little. I want to get the stuff off it but my pc doesnt see it at all now. Can some one help me figgure out if it is just locked or has it craped the bed? could it just be a partition problem and if so how to i retreave the stuff on 2nd drive. Thanks for any help.
