I wanted to replace files like shell32 etc to my unattended cd and did so using modifype.exe and makecab. I used files which were provided with Bricopack Vista Inspirat 1.1 . Then i disable windows file protection by replacing that soc something ddl with the one provided at unattended guide. Now everything works fine but a first start the windows file protection dialog box pos up I checked my registry and there also it is diabled. Any ideas ?? Help will be appreciated

yeah thats the thing that amazed me and the data it copied was also perfect ie no errors. I wonder if that was with hardware it should happen with other drives also

I m having a strange situation here hope u have solution. My friend have a Seagate 80 GB hard disk with 7200 rpm. He is having 4 partitions, C:\ is on NTFS and rest on FAT32. I needed some data from his disk so i boroughed it from him for one day. While copying things it took some time to transfer but strange was it to see that when i copied approx 1.2 gigs of data from drive D:\ it just took me 10 seconds .And u will be amazed to know that if i do this from other drives it will take about 2 minutes Any ideas??? I also want to speed my drives like that and plz reply if u know the solution coz i have to return his hard disk tomorrow

Like ryanVM werent able to do this simple things It was unfortunate that i didnt saw this thread Ok here all what you need to do 1.Remove this rubish like all drivers or orther things using nlite 2.Make your customized bootscreen and replace it with your ntoskrnl.exe and others (Remember modifype.exe and makecab before replacing) 3.Disable Windows file protection (WFP) 4.You re done
