  1. I bought a new laptop and ran magic jellybean and got the Product ID and CD Key off the pre-installed windows 7 Home Premium 64- bit from Toshiba. I have a copy of WIndows 7 Home Premium disc and installed it to get rid of all the crap that comes on the laptop. After installing Windows 7, the product ID is the same on both, but the key number errors out upon trying to activate it. Is there certain files I need to pull off the laptop using the factory system to add to or overwrite on the other disc to Toshiba OEM it and make the CD key to work? Thank you.
  2. How can I add the drivers specific to my installation XP CD into the Original DRIVER.CAB file under i386? I tried using WinAce and I get an error box trying to add my drivers to the opened .cab. Thank you.
  3. I cannot find my notepad link with the URL to download a hotfix. It was the link that you added the hotfix number too in your browser and it took you to that download. Something like *********KBBXXXXXX
  4. I just bought a PC with Vista installed and of coarse all the other stuff that gets thrown in on the computer by default. I always took my WPA, OEM, PID files, etc and moved them over to a straight version and did a clean install. I cannot find these files with Vista. Anyone know what the OEM bios, PID files are for vista to copy and paste on a retail version to do a clean install. Thanks.
  5. I just bought a new Athlon Dual Core Gateway computer that came with a MCE restore DVD. I know how to nlite and slipstream XP Pro CD's, but would like to know how to down size the DVD and only make a CD/DVD of the basic software without the garbage included in the 1.3gb DVD. I am looking for just the basic operating system to slipstream. What files do I need...Thanks
