  1. Thank you very much! The script works like a charm. Steve
  2. Hi, I have downloaded multiple pages of information from the Web and on each line there is a hyperlink. I would like to preserve the text and remove all hyperlinks without going line by line. I tried going into Autocorrect/Autoformat and unchecking the hyperlink box, but this didn't do anything. Any ideas? Thank you very much! Steve
  3. Hi, After two hours on the phone with Sony, I'm no closer to a solution. I have a Sony VAIO SZ laptop. Whenever I try to close the lid so the computer can hibernate, I get the error: SYSTEM HIBERNATION FAILED: The service "Print Spooler" is preventing the machine from entering hibernation. Try stopping this service and try again. This means, of course, going to control panel, adminstrative tools, services, finding the print spooler, and turning it off, which is a bit more than simply closing the lid. I have an IBM T40 that does this with no problem. The people at Sony said it was an XP problem. Can anyone help? Thanks! Steve Title edited - No caps in titles. --Zxian
  4. Thanks! This looks fab! My only question is, why didn't I think of this? (heh-heh). Steve
  5. Hi, I have been using Eudora and recently switched to Outlook. I want to do something I thought would be simple: direct my attachments to a subdirectory mydocuments/attach (this is what I had been doing in Eudora). However, based on the info on the ms site, I have to edit the registry (!) and as far as I can tell, the edit would send both the inbox messages AND the attachments to this directory. Since the attachments are most often .doc or .jpg, I want to be able to get to them easily independent of the message that bears them. However, the current directory structure: documents and settings/myname/local settings/temporary internet files does not seem to yield the attachments and the stated subdirectory, OKLDF, doesn't seem to exist (I checked to see if it was hidden). I am frustrated with not being able to find my attachments outside of Outlook only allowing me to either save or open them, and not being able to redirect them so I can access them without going down a rabbit hole of subdirectories and subdirectories. Thanks in advance for your advice. (I considered leaving them where they were and writing some macro to get at them more easily, but that struck me as about as wacky as having to hack the registry to redirect the attachments.) Steve
