i just opened my pc but i could not see any nummer 400/533/600 on the label, but i saw in the mohterboard book there is
somting with DDR (533 MHz) qualifirf vendors list with ram size,model,side ectmm but have no ide what is it...
but i see in the book there is a nummer for a my kingston ram (KVR533D2N4/512 i also see that nummer on my 2x 512 MB ram block..

My DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 Socket is in use i need to fell the the
DIMM_A2 AND DIMM_B2 out with 1 or 2 GB ram

Well... My windows cd got a corrupt file i got a shutdown and restart problem
i dunno how to rep it our how to get a new windows cd with same cd key
anyone can help ?

I have spoken to DHoom off of MSFN and we solved the problem he had a corrupt file on the XP CD that was causing the problem, his computer was running fine on a diferent install off a different CD

Norton isn't integrated into Windows. You can safely uninstall it and run SymNRT. You may want to do it in Safe Mode too.

Linux, thats Free, or a trial edition of Windows, u can get a few Trials of Windows these days.?
because if u try a diffeent os, and u get the same problem, then its your Hardware.
form where can i get a trial edition windows xp home edition ?

Hey stupid idea i know, but have you tried a Different OS such as Win 2K? and see if the problem still occurs? and then upgrade back to XP
because that may help, if its still the same, its going to be a hardware problem

I see you had Norton installed. It could very well be Norton leftovers doing that to you.
Try using SymNRT aka Norton Removal Tool.
Bah i cant
last time i uninstalled my norton it total crashed my computer blue screnn becuse
norton folder is also in my system folder, and if i delete norton it total crash

Disconnect the floppy drive and/or card reader
Remove one of the memory sticks
Disconnect all DVD/CD-drives

If you've reinstalled and formatted your HDD and the problem still remains then it's gotta be hardware related so everything is definately NOT running fine. Obviously, something's causing your problem.
What about the first time Windows XP boots up after a clean installation (and you haven't installed anything yet). Does the problem appear then when you try to restart?
Just figured..it could be your antivirus. Norton Antivirus,Ghost etc. is gotta be one of the crappiest software's out there according to me. Boy do they slow down your computer with all their services and startup things. Tried uninstalling it?only my antivirus run (Norton) and still it take 10 mins to shutdown and thanrestart after 2-3 sec.. mad.gif
since i install windows xp i do have the restarting problem...
