hi all experts, i'm doing my course project which is to use mouse pointer to get text on any window controls and then translate the meaning to other language. my first problem was solved which i use windows api to get handle(hwnd) of any control. for text box like one in notepad i can easily call sendmessage function to get the text. but how about for folderview (classname) like one for desktop? how do i get the text associated with an icon? now i can only get the handle which is syslistview32 (folderview) please help me on this with vb.net preferrable thanks..
