  1. I have found there is some old topics on adding Acronis true image to the CDSHELL Boot menu. None of the examples have worked for me. has anyone out there succeeded in adding a current version of True Image to their bootup iso file. I know that it is simple to add through easyboot. But I want it added to CDSHELL. Thank you
  2. First of all I know that CDSHELL has an option that ask if you would like to boot from CD/DVD. But I wanted to bypass their feature and actually intigrate BOOTFIX.BIN in with the CDSHELL Loader. It doesnt matter how I do it, it will not work. Has anyone else tried this or had any luck. Brooks
  3. Multiboot Friends, I am trying to add KILLDISK pro to my Multiboot DVD ISO. To my understanding The iso CD image is the professional version and the floppy image is the personal or free version with limited capabilities. For the life of me I can not get the iso or the floppy img version to work in my AIO-ISO. I have tried to extract the boot loader from the ISO renaming it something like Kill.img and then taking the files from within the KillDisk ISO image and placing them within the root of my AIO-ISO. After creating the ISO and running it Virtual machine I press for KILLDISK, it starts in dos (like it should) but then it prompts for (a:)? I have tried WinImage and UltraIso to create an .ima file. Get the same results. Even when I create the floppy image (which is the free version of KillDisk) and create an .ima file through WinImage add it to the root it will still prompt for drive a: (none of the other .ima files I created have been this much of a headache) UBCD contains the free version of killDisk. When I run UBCD in Virtual machine or VMWARE, I can run KillDisk through the hard Disk Utilities. After I render UBCD into file and Integrate its menu with mine (which CDSHELL is set up the same way booting .scn text files) the ISO image gives the same floppy prompt. Perhaps there maybe a switch that I haven’t been using, or there is a setup directory within the boot loader. Either way I’ve tried so many different methods and still can not get it to work the way it should. Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou,
  4. I have used the 98 IMA file provided on the flyakite multiboot page. It works fine when booting up through VMWARE untill it gets to the part of configuring my hard disc space size. At this point it ask for my Windows 98 CDROM. Any ideas on how to bypass this. Thank you for any help.
  5. Thank you, I will try that out You've been a big help. Thank you
  6. Is there anyway that I can have the serial number automatically install itself into Office Professional 2003 by adding a batch or .Inf file. I am also using Autoplay media Studio 6 maybe it could be integrated through it. My copy is Volume Licenced and I tried a Administrative Installation, but it makes my ISO file become to large to burn. Thank you, for any advise at all.
  7. I was just wanting to know if anyone knows of a way to edit CDShell where it will provide the option to bootup in Dos text mode or GUI mode. I know this can be done with other self booting programs. Thank you for any response.
  8. I'm sorry I'm using autoplay media studio 6. I dont know how autorun works.
  9. Yes, that works. and I know all of this right now is kind of pointless due to the fact that Vista probably will not be released untill JAN of 2007. (when it was supposed to of been released in 2005) I'm basically trying to figure it out for when its released. If its not been made anymore complicated. Like Windows XP there will be several different versions of Vista. THe multiboot ISO I'm currently working on contains XP HOME, XP PRO, and media center, and you cannot add all of those versions to the root of the CD.
  10. I agree am using Autorun.exe 6, and I believe that somehow you should be able to inject A text (batch) command into the CDIMAGE.exe. I own a multiboot disc which I did not create and I noticed that they have added cdimage to the disc 1 time without any extra batch files giving the commands. I’m thinking the answer is in the script commands. I’m still working withit. One way or the other I’ll figure it out. It may take a couple of months.
  11. I was wondering I've noticed that some people have added an option to create specific ISO images from within there multiboot DVD. I know they have CDImage in the root folder, but I cannot find any batch files that trigger the command to cdimage to create the specific iso file. Does anyone know how this is done.
  12. I have successfully added ERD Commandor 2005 to my multiboot DVD iso image, but when I try to modify the txtsetup.sif and add \inram to the OSLoadOptions in the ERD2 folder. It installs itself like a windows boot folder (Windows Server 2003). Is there anyother special modifications that need to made to the INRAM version of ERD Commandor 2005 Thankyou for any help
  13. It should create a autorun.INF file that will tell the CD to boot up in GUI. That same autorun.inf file would be found in alot of original software CD's
  14. Windows Vista does not apear to be an the average NT Operating System. what I mean is it does not have an I386 folder, although it does install itself basically the same way as any other NT operating system. During the installation it does create a boot folder. How ever it contains a different Boot loader. I wouldnt know where to begin to start modifying since Im not use to this version. Does anyone else have any ideas Thank you, Brooks
  15. Is it possible to add Linux Redhat 3 to a Windows AIODVD and if so does anyone know what modifications to make since there is 4 CD's to install? Thank you Brooks
  16. I was trying to add x64 XP to the multiboot DVD when I realized there was a lot more modifying that needed to take place in the setup loaders. Instead of just having to modify the I386 folder you also have the AMD64 Folder. Does anyone have any tips to this problem? And I’m still having a problem with formatting a partition from a Windows installation using a multiboot DVD, regardless if I’m using an IDE or SATA hard drive. I don’t know what’s causing this to happen it will say this partition can not be formatted or it is damaged. I'm guessing it has something to do with the file copying process.
  17. I have created a All in One Multi-boot DVD with all NT and non-NT versions of Windows. They all work except for the formating process of the installations on the NT versions 2000's 2003 Servers and XP's. It acts like its going to format but when it finishes it says a message like no atapi found. It does work with the original windows disc. Ive even tried to edit the winnt.ini text file to say autoformat all that does is make to where I dont have to press enter to format the partition, and I still get the same problem. I dont know if its my computer just messing up somewhere in the ISO creation. Or if their is some kind of encryption somewhere on the main disc. Or if the formating driver is becoming corrupt in the file copying process. Everything after that works fine. So if I can ever get past this problem I would have my ALL in One multi boot disc. If anyone has any feedback please post it Thank You, Brooks Batson
  18. I built a All in One DVD that contains all the Windows NT Servers, Win 98SE, Win ME, ALL 2000's, All 2003's and All XP's. Everything works except for the formatting portions of the installation on the 2000's, 2003's and XP's, but yet the originals still format. I get the same result in Virtual PC. Does anybody have a the solution to this? or what may be causing this PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!!! Thank You for any support.
