Can anyone direct me where to look... I've just put in a Symantec cluster solution to fail over from Sydney to Melbourne the problems is that the Virtual IP address for this server differ from site to site when I ping the box.. Currently the Melbourne resource is off-line but if I log onto a server in our LAN\WAN if I ping the box I might get the Melbourne Virtual IP which times out but if someone else logs onto the same box and pings the box they will get the sydney address with a reply.. a ipconfig /flushdns will resolve the problem my question is why is the DNS server not properly updating all the servers with the live connection address and why is it showing the off-line address for certain people... if someone is able to help me out it would be great...

Just needed some advice on how to resolve a memory leak on a couple of servers they are all Windows 2003 SP1 Xeon 3.4 with 4gb of memory... I'm getting alerts that there are memory leaks with the winlogon.exe But I have no idea how to track down what's causing this memory leak, or how to resolve these memory leaks looking through the forum people are suggesting perfmon... but I don't know what processes I should be tracking... to find the cause... any help would be appreciated...

they are missing at random times during the night... I'm not sure if it's becasue robocopy is copying them before they fully transfered into the source directory...

Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem... This is the situation... there is a process that drops these 200kb-500kb files into this directory through the day.. and i have a robocopy batch file that will robocopy certain files to another server and then I have a move in there to move them to another directory on the server to sort them out but occassionally I'm finding I have 1 or 2 missing files.. when I go back to the logs that I've set up it Robocopy shows that it's been copied over but it's not there... Can anyone give me some advice on where these files are gone thanks
