I just built a new computer, I have a 200GB Maxtor Sata hard drive, and a Asus P4S800D-X Motherboard. I am trying to install Win XP Pro, and am pretty new with slipstreaming the install. I have succesfully created a install CD with the SiS 180 Raid Drivers, I see them get loaded, and then the windows install see's my harddrive. So I format my hard drive, and windows copys all the files to it, then it reboots to load windows so I can finalize my install, but every time it reboots I get a 0x0000007B BSOD error. I know this is a pretty common error, and it usually has something to do with the SATA drivers not getting loaded properly. I have tried everything that I could think of, but I cant get this to work. It has been 4 really frustrating days already, and I am about to go buy a IDE hard drive if I cant get this SATA to work. Hopefully someone who has had this error before and solved it can help me. Here is all that I have done: copied my driver files to $OEM$/$1/drivers/RAID driver files: sysraid.sys, SiSRAID.inf, sisraid.cat, property.dll TXTSETUP.sif: [SourceDisksFiles] sisraid.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 property.dll = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_0180 = "SiS 180/181 RAID Controller" [SCSI.Load] sisraid = sisraid.sys,4 [SCSI] sisraid = "SiS 180/181 RAID Controller" my WINNT.sif looks like this: [Data] AutoPartition=0 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" [Unattended] UnattendMode=ProvideDefault OemPreinstall=Yes OemSkipEula=Yes NoWaitAfterTextMode=1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode=1 WaitForReboot=”No” TargetPath=\WINDOWS DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore OemPnPDriversPath=drivers\RAID\ [GuiUnattended] OEMSkipWelcome = 1 [UserData] ProductKey= FullName=”“ OrgName=”“ If someone could help me, it would greatly be appreciated. Thank you
