  1. Might be too late for an answer but I work in an education environment with a corp version of XP, and it skips my welcome screen after install. Here is the top of my WINNT.SIF file....if it helps: [Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" [Unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes UnattendSwitch=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword="xxxxxxxxxxxx" EncryptedAdminPassword=NO AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=2 OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=35 OemSkipWelcome=1
  2. I kind of figured that much, but does anyone have any idea what contains that data?
  3. Are you trying to connect from home to work, or from work to home or what? I'm confused? But no, my Laptop is on a Domain (which I'm the admin of) at work and when I'm at home on our DSL I can connect into my work machines just fine. I don't even have to use my VPN, but I have public IP's on all of them. If you're going from work back to home, your home router probably doesn't know to pass the RemoteConnection packets on to your home computer, instead it just tosses them aside thinking they're junk.
  4. This might need to be in another forum. But at my school we already have a customized logo via msgina.dll for our logon screen. What I'm wanting to do is see if I can customize the text that is shown (along with the graphic) when you click the HELP on that logon box. Right now it tells somsone how to hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and such....I'd prefer to put information about how they can setup their student account on campus, and the phone numbers for us in IT to assist them. So......anyone know? I looked elsewhere in MSGINA and didn't see anything..........
  5. Yeah, check what Sonic said first. Also make sure you have files in the root web folder, and you have a default file picked (or directory browsing turned on). AND of course make sure the service is started. All I'm sure you've tried but just gotta ask.
