  1. Hi Damian666, Sorry to have taken my time getting back to you but rather than give information that might be wrong I decieded to reformat and install Win2ksp4 clean with only my drivers and the August 07 version of DirectX. I turned off SFP and installed 1.4.1 with no errors this time. I have the debug file but will not post unless you want it. By the way true turned out to be very buggy so I did not install it this time it needs a bit more work. Thank you again for a top class software package Regards. Steven.
  2. Damian, congratulations on producing a top class software package. Installed 1.4.1.0 this afternoon and the reloader kept complaining about three files not loaded? This repeated after several reboots so after a bit of tinkering I finally went back to the reloader update you put out with 1.3.0 which solved the problem. True does not auto start so I made a shortcut and put it in my Startup Folder it keeps making File Explorer error at odd times and just out of interest it does not skin aMSN and the Title Bar is gone, other than that it is a lot better than ShellWM. Also True does not screw up the video when playing a DVD and going from a window to full screen ShellWM would make a right mess of things doing this, but if you maximise the window the video drops out, I use Media Player Classic. Many thanks for keeping Win2k going it might be old but its the best and now it has a modern look, Vista is back on the shelf. Regards. Steven.
  3. Go into its folder in Program Files right click on the TrueTransparency.exe and make a shorcutcut paste the shortcut into your Start Menu Startup folder. Regards. Steven.
  4. Hi, not too late to start with win2k I got sick of XP (Activation) so went back to trusty 2000. As for themes I use Desktop Architect get it at http://www.themedoctor.com/da.shtml works great. Make your own themes or download a stack of them from the site. I have used BootSkin to change the boot screen Reshack to change the starting and login boxes in msgina.dll, Desktop Architect to change the GUI theme to shades of Navy blue to match a nice new start button and menu bar that I made in Photoshop Elements using Tclock Lite to replace the originals, this all ties in to a nice deep blue wallpaper downloaded from deviantART. I also would recomend RK Launcher (which I found needed Microsofts GDIplus) if you want an apple type animated launch bar and Desktop Sidebar for that Longhorn / Vista look. Most of the system icons are now of the Vista type, drives folders system files et cetera using Desktop Architect to build the into a theme and also Madanote for the akward icons. Another program that might interest you is Glass2k for those transpartent windows. Win2k is a great OS and with just a few programs and a little time you can update the look to whatever you want. First post hope it helps. Regards.
