  1. I want to get the sizing right so one can use a pc attached to a 42'' hd flat screen, mostly for my grandfather who needs large font support anyway. -G
  2. Is there a way to get the so called "10-Foot Experience" on a stock version of XP Pro? Or at least something close to such? -Gabe
  3. it is a fresh install, but i'll look into these tools.......
  4. that's true to the best information i've gotten from my client. i'm waiting on a write up from them.
  5. a client of mine is having a strong problem with the copy of sp3 i installed for them, they are trying to access files in a folder but then the system slows down as it loads the short cuts in the folder and then explore closes out, as to programs when they try to use open dialog. I know they are using pagemaker 7 and the files are tiff type, what could be wrong? I'll have more info tomorrow but right now i'm just trying to scout with what info i have. -G
  6. Okay after a bit of looking around i've found that it is a language recognition issue. MS talks about correcting it for certain programs here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887611 and here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885861 any idea how i can adapt these fixes to Zoomplayer pro, or Win2k as a whole? -Gabe
  7. Okay I've got Japanese language region support enabled, but for some reason kanji files encoded under an XP system don't display correctly on my system, any idea for fixes? The MS help pages make a mention about a bug if more than 5 kanji are displayed the os may mistake them for Chinese characters. -Gabe
