yeh restarted plenty of times didnt help at all, same error each time. I tried the same on my home machine instead of the work lappy had same issue, then remmbered I had a clean install of XP64bit on another partition, now is fixed will use this from now on. Thanks much so folks

Have tried this it still stops at the same point, finishes with driver decpress then stops saying cab M1 is missing, this is still located in the M1 folder. I have tried this on C & D drive (route) all files are left in in the UWXPCD folder and not cabbed. I then copied the Cab M1 and OemPNP cmd to the route of the driver pack folder, started again. This then cabbed the files but on intergration with xp failed to find the OemPNP.cmd. Any other ideas on how to fix this other than installing a fresh orig xp lol ?

Hi there from what I understand using nlite after the driver pack it removes something from the winnt.sif file which is needed. So far I have allways removed and intergrated everything with nlite and then used the driver pack. Any minor changes such as adding extra drivers or updated addon packs I have used nlite again after and have not had any problems/driver issues. What is it you are removing from windows install ? maybe something here is the cause.

I guess the system isnt far off an Xprise system. It is a windows install which i have grafted together over the last few months, created with nlite. I will try and download the packs again and see if it does the same thing. I have looked at my cmd and it doesnt look much differnet from any other. confussed lol

am using option1 and this is a fresh winxp. I have managed to find the file a back up i had of the old pack but am just finding other issues along the way, for instance the pack now cabs the drivers but doesnt clean up, then i have copyed these into the xp folder, try to slip and oemdrivers is missing grrrr. All folders are in route i.e d:/ Winxp d:/Driverpack

Hi Bashrat Firstly great job on these, have been using them for a little while now, sure saves a hell of alot of time. I am just creating an updated virsion and have downloaded the new driver packs, I select step the process completes so far untill it comes to the cab creation, I receive an error saying the CABM1_ is missing, I have searched the folders with all the files and yup I cant find it either. Any chance of this file so I can get this finished ?

hmm ok will try it is the same as I did before just didnt add the /H /I, what are these switches for anyhow so that I know for future referance ? Joke lol yeh Im laughing and pulling my hair out lol they both didnt work. the basic code i used in the batch file well were basic dos commands such as MOVE, DEL, XCOPY I kinda deleted what I wrote out as it didnt work and like i said i was pulling my hair out. what would you suggest as you are so mighty lol

Hi Folks I have made a very nice Windows install which has taken me about a month so far lol I have about 60 apps instaled some via a batch file and some intergrated into the windows install. I have a clean and tweak file run after the installing of these so that my desktop isnt a mess with loads of shortcuts, the only problem I have is that the Start Menu is such a mess its insane. I have tried 2 differnet ways of cleaning this so far and none have worked. Move the shortcut to another folder and then Del the folder which is not needed, didnt work. Copy the shortcut to another folder and then delete the folder also didnt work. Any ideas on how else I could do this or even a basic command which would do this please??!!
