  1. thanks, I have been looking on the MSI site, but haven't been able to find that particular link, so thank you very much. . . yeah, if i don't have a setup executable, i really get stuck. . however, win 64 is blazingly fast, and it will be years until we get it at work . . . . and its for my gamer son's computer, now i can't wait to build my own version with a SATA II i/o thanks again sportsguy
  2. ok, I got the video card drivers loaded, that was easy after i downloaded the zip file and actually unzipped it and used it. however, the one piece that i need to get going, is the ethernet controller, which is a broadcom on board ethernet controller. I have downloaded the broadcom driver, but do i can't figure out how to get the new driver installed. . . there are three files, the inf file, the sys file and the cat file. . . under network adapters, it shows a network 1394 adapter, with the MS driver. . . (from memory) so do i manually put the sys file in the location, and manually assign the driver to the network adapter? but the real question is how to get the ethernet adapter to be seen? thanks, almost there. . . sportsguy
  3. thanks, although Win64 doesn't see the nvidia geforce 6200 board in the device manager. . . does that mean that I must get a new video card? thanks sportsguy
  4. I installed Win 64 on a new DiamondMax 10 SATA 200gig drive, on an MSI 915P Neo2 board, with 2 gigs RAM, with Win XP installed on a 80 gig IDE drive, nvidia geforce6200 video card, with a Pentium 640 CPU. The OS installed fine and fast, BUT won't connect to the internet, so the issue must be the Broadcom gigernet drivers. so I downloaded the 64 bit drivers to a driver directory on the x64 drive. The question i have is how do i actually install the drivers so that Win64 can use them? Then I have downloaded the NVIDIA Force something 64 bit driver update to its own directory on the SATA drive, 25 MB worth of something. the question i have is how do i actually install or upgrade to the NVIDIA 64 bit drivers? thanks in advance, sportsguy.
