  1. got it working I downloaded the latest files, dated 11/10/2005, and it worked
  2. I have an Intel motherboard with a Marvel nic. During the textmode portion of the install (when it is coping files) I receive a BSOD with: File YK51x86.sys caused an unexpected error (21) at line 3903 in d:\srv03rtm\base\boot\setup\setup.c.c Does anyone have any ideas?
  3. got it when the instructions mentioned i386 I thought they were talking about the i386 folder in the ris image not the one in the "flat-file"
  4. andy thanks for your input, but it still does not work ws03xp32 now contains e100b325.cat e100b325.din e100b325.inf e100b325.sys e100msg.dll intelnic.dll looked at these files on the orginal system e100b325.din, e100msg.dll and intelnic.dll in windows\system32 e100b325.sys in windows\system32\drivers verified that these files were present in the rip folder also copied e100b325.din, e100msg.dll, intelnic.dll and e100b325.sys to flat files
  5. After several days of stress, trying to figure out why my RIS server (win2003, standard, deploying win2003, standard) stops and gives the famous "The selected image does not contain the required drivers". I have read all the previous posts and still cannot get it to work. my current configuration is: [unattended] section modify OemPreinstall = Yes add OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\ws03xp32" DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore created $oem$\$1\drivers\ws03xp32 at the same level as i386 and under i386 downloladed the ris inf file from intel ws03xp32 contains e100b325.sys e100b325.din e100b325.dll intelnic.dll prounstl.exe started and stopped binlsvc what am i missing?
  6. found it!!! I compaired the sif file in the flat file with the sif in the riprep file. It seems riprep added HalName=halaacpi.dll to [OSChooser] removed the line and the rip image appears???
  7. I am using the same computer for PXE that I used for Riprep
  8. No I have not. All permissions are what Windows set them to.
  9. Pls go easy on me I'm totally confused and frustrated I used Ripprep to copy an image to my ris server. Windows explorer on the Ris sever \images Win2k3 (this is the Riprep inage) Windows_2003 (this is the flat file from the cd) Active Directory Users and Computers -> Remote Instal -> Advanced settings -> Images Windows Server 2003, Standard "associated to Windows_2003 flat file" Windows Server 2003 "associated to Windows_2003 flat file" Windoes 2003 server "associated to Win2k3 riprep file" When I PXE boot a client the only options are Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003. Where is the riprep image???
