  1. Using the multiboot cd (with at least WINME and WIN98SE on it) Install Windows ME as normal, when asked for previous OS, just select the Windows 98 SE "WIN98" Folder off the CD. The install should continue as normal. Regards, Critux.

  5. Hi MSFN Members, Does anyone know how to convert Windows XP/2000 drivers to Windows 98 SE drivers?
  6. I can only find drivers for Windows 95, 2000 and XP! I tried using the 95 drivers with no luck. When using LINUX i could use this modem with the SLMODEM Drivers. Does anyone have a solution?

  8. Couldn't you just enable that option alone in: 1. Control Panel - System Propeties 2. Advanced Tab - Performance Settings 3. Check the "Show transclucnt selection rectangle"
  9. Maybe you got mixed up with the sentance: "Windows 2000 is the Professional Edition of Windows Millenium" or the digits 2000 being aka Millenium: someone refrred to Windows 2000 Pro as Windows Me Pro???

  11. Hi Posters, I have an inbuilt "Intel Corporation 82801DBM AC'97 Modem Controller" in my Laptop that doesnt work with Windows 98 SE. The modem uses a Agere chipst. I have tried using the generic 8.30 Agere drivers, searching google and add com ports 1 - 4. Its no good having to us Windows XP to use the internet. Regards, Critux.
