  1. Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to protect a CD/DVD with a password when booting from DOS and Auto Booting in windows. I have searched the net and found some programmes that will protect in windows but you are not able to boot from in DOS. Im just curious if this can be done. The 911 boot cd creator can password the bootprocess but the files are accessible from windows. CryptCD 5 can encrypt the cd so that the disk is not accessible in windows, but is not bootable. Any Ideas please. Regards John

  3. Hi, To date I have not been able to put a final tweak on my installation cd. I would like to be able to change the text on the [system Properties] [General] tab. When you have OEMLOGO.bmp and OEMINFO.ini in the system32 folder, you see the text "Manufactured and supported by:" above the logo. Is there a way to edit this text or delete it? Regards John
  4. Not Blind, Can Read, Can't find what i,m looking for. I looked at the Sticky Topics and yes, there are some reg tweaks iI require in the topics files but not all. To date I havn't seen a Tweak that will Auto Arrange Icons on the desktop. or Set the powerscheme to presentation. Now, Without sounding rude, do you have anything more constructive to say or is it easier to point out the not quite so obvious? Regards John

Good reply though, i will use that some other time. Regards John

This is just one of many tweaks I wish to adjust but If I see how to do one I may get the hang of it to atempt the rest. I use nlite to integrate service packs and hotfixes but it has limited tweaks. Kind regards John
