  1. Has anyone figured out a simple way to add more LAN Drivers to the OPK CD when doing an unattended install over our LAN ? I use the OPK CD to boot , it loads my WINBOM.INI file then pulls the install across the network. It works great I just want to add more Network card support as well as some Mass Storage devices. Dragging the INF SYS DLL..... etc is a long process. Is there any other way ? Thanks
  2. Thanks that is really helpful One down one left Th3_H0unD
  3. Does anyone know how to do the following Unattended of course. I want to disable error reporting unattended for ALL users I also want to remove the display delete confirmation dialog from the recycle bin also for ALL users Thanks Th3_H0unD
  4. I am also trying to get this to install. I've used the downloader from Kodak's web site. It stores all the temp files in "Documents and Settings\All users\Kodak\" Make sure you copy the EasyShrx.Dll and setup.exe from the $SETUP foler to the $STAGING foler now I can run the install but I can't do anything more... It claims to have installed but it does not. I'll keep looking and working on it... Let me know if you get any further. Th3_H0unD
  5. Ya I just have a WEP Key and I need to specify the SSID as well.. cause I don't want broadcasting on. Will this plugin work for me ? I'm using WinPE for my unattened installs Th3_H0unD
  6. Wow I can't believe this... 10 days and nobody knows if this is possible..... Anyone ???? Th3_H0unD
  7. I have the key in the unattend.txt of my cfgset.... So you are saying to put it in sysprep.inf ? Th3_H0unD I found some info on it. It is an answer file to the mini setup. So as long as I have that in my sysprep folder and do a mini setup When i'm done doing everything else then it will not prompt me for that given information. right ? Thanks Th3_H0unD
  8. Does anyone know what settings i need when using a volume liscense with sysprep ? I've already got my image made and it works 100% perfect. I just don't want to have to click reseal and then type the key in. Anyone ? Thanks Th3_H0unD
  9. Well I did it and it works great. Like you said it's some work to get it going but it's nice once it's done Now what do you use to cleanup all the folders on the system after ? Cause the BTS_DPs_cleanup.cmd does not cleanup everything. Th3_H0unD
  10. 5. Apply the BTS Driverpacks to the opktools\lang\en\sku\***\x86 So what you mean is copy the contents from UWXPCD_ROOT to that folder and then run RUN_ME.cmd ? Th3_H0unD
  11. I know that using a wireless nic to setup windows over a network would be slower. That is not so much an issue. The question I have is this... Is there a way to put an SSID and a WEP key in WinPE so that it automagicly connects ? I've been looking around and haven't found much really. There is supposed to be some plugin for bart's pe called Zero Wilress Config and I can't get it too work with my WinPE. Anyone ? Th3_H0unD
  12. Now I use OPK and i'd love nothing more than to get the driver packs to work with my current images. However I don't fully understand your steps. 5. Apply the BTS Driverpacks to the opktools\lang\en\sku\***\x86 What do you mean by this ? 6. MOVE the $OEM$ folder to the corresponding CFGSET $OEM$ Why would I need to move the $OEM$ folder to the corresponding CFGSET when it allready has them there ? 7. Copy the RELEVANT contents of the WINNT.SIF file BTS Packs created in the ...\x86\i386 folder into the unattended.txt of the corresponding CFGSET and then delete the WINNT.SIF file (the only thing you really need is the nice long path name). I'm assuming that you are refering to the settings that must be set, right ? 8. Copy the WINBOM.INI into the root of the RIS image (right alongside the i386 folder) The WINBOM.INI file is already in the image folder cfgsets\cfgname\winbom.ini along with the unattend.txt Is this right as well ? 9. Edit the \\****\REMINST\Setup\English\Images\pro.sp2\i386\templates\ristndrd.sif folder to have the /minint switch And where is this file from ??? I don't have an ristndrd.sif Th3_H0unD
  13. I'm sure this has been covered many of times however I just want some clarification on the matter. I'm currently using Sysprep for my images with some customized settings here and there along with the use of the cmdlines.txt i'm launching a RunOnceEx.cmd to run my software installs. Now my question is this. I have many different systems that I use this image on and they all have either different chipsets ie Intel or Via as well as Audio, Video, LAN etc.... How do I set it up so that it detects the proper drivers automaticly during install or after ? I know that by creating an inf folder in my $OEM$\$$\ folder will copy the inf to the drive and then XP should detect the device but it does not for some reason. Now perhpas there is a setting that I need? Anyone ? Thanks in advance Th3_H0unD
