  1. What are the advantages of using a created IE7 Add-on versus the original IE7 installation file and the latest Updates?
  2. I've integrated WinXP before, but just every few years, so I'm just a little beyond being a newbie. I want to use nLite to integrate IE7 + updates into my WinXP Pro SP3 installation files. I've done a lot of reading about this and wondered what cumulative updates I need to use. I have the 5/6/08 IE7 main program downloaded. I'm not sure if that means all updates prior to 5/6/08 are already in this installation file. I also have the following IE7 cumulative updates: IE7-WindowsXP-KB947864-x86-ENU_030108.exe IE7-WindowsXP-KB950759-x86-ENU_52008.exe IE7-WindowsXP-KB953838-x86-ENU_62608.exe IE7-WindowsXP-KB956390-x86-ENU_100308.exe As it shows, I renamed these updates with the dates they were released (ie _100308). Do I need to integrate all of these, or just the ones later than 5/6/08, or just the last one: IE7-WindowsXP-KB956390-x86-ENU_100308.exe? Am I missing anything to have the latest IE7 integrated? Thanks for any replies!
  3. nLite newbie here. I've spent several hours searching & reading topics in the forum and have some conclusions I just want to get some feedback on. I've been manually slipstreaming WinXP and MSOffice for years, but have never used nLite or RyanVM Integrator. I'm just looking for some feedback on the following three items: 1) Always keep a unmodifed "safe" source of WinXP Pro with just the SP updates. I've always kept a SP2 safe source, and am now keeping a SP3 "safe" source. 2) As long as you have a "safe" source with just the SP updates, it is OK to integrate the next SP into it. You do not have to go back to the original WinXP CD. (or, if you are willing to put in the time, should you? I've got win51ip.SP2 and win51ip.SP3 now in my "safe" WinXP Pro SP3 source disk) 3) IE7 is still an issue to integrate. Best to do a manual install after OS install? Thanks for any replies!
  4. I have updated my MSOffice install CD for several years. It is current as of 05-15-08. I've started getting an occasional MSOffice 2007 file now, and wondered how I should handle the compatibility pack, plus the SP1 for it, plus the two hotifxes for the compatibility pack SP1.............................................................. #$^%*&()$ Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack 111907 Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 1 (SP1) 120807 Security Update for the 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB947801) 031208 Security Update for Microsoft Office system 2007 (KB951808) 051208 I think I know the answer, but do not like it. Thanks for any replies!

  6. Does any one know the silent switches? or please create the addon pack for Vobsub v2.23 I think Vobsub exists in one of the combined package but I need it on its own. Vobsub can be found here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_so...ools/vobsub.cfm
