Ok all I got rid of adware lookme but it did alot of damage too my file structure. I reinstaleld 3 times over top too get rid of it but dont want too reinstall a forth time. I cannot access my add remove programs, it just runs mshta & sits there... Is there a way for me too replace it & any connected files too get my add/remove in my control panel to work? I am running windows 2000 sp4 with pc-cillin 2006 & regprotect running, I disabled pc-cillin & regprotect with same results as before.. mshta.exe runs but nothing happens at all.. I cannot format re-install & wish too get htis fixed without re-installing a fourth time in a row, thank you.... P.S I know how 2 edit registry entry's set security on ntfs & network so any tecical detail I can probly understand. I repair pc's for a living & do security so no wise cracks or rudeness thx..
