  1. Just an update.. http://www.msfn.org/board/-t69809.html&amp...432#entry759432 Check out my post about using HFSLIP to do the entire thing which makes it REALLY SIMPLE. Thanks, mechtn
  2. Well, just an update. Looks like everything can be done with just HFSLIP! I went over to the RC5 post and grabbed the hfslip-1.7.6rc5.zip file. Check out my post on the RC5 thread for information about how to get the entire thing slipstreamed using HFSLIP. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=759432 Best of luck to everyone! mechtn
  3. Windows XP SP3 / WMP11 / IE7 Source files were copied from a Windows XP Corporate CD that was previously slipstreamed with SP2. hfslip-1.7.6rc5.zip was unzipped to C:\HFSLIP Ran the batch file to create the appropriate directories. Copied the following 2 files to C:\HFSLIP\HF 1) IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe 2) WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe Extracted the following file using Winzip to C:\HFSLIP\HF\WMP11\ 1) wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe Copied the source files from my XP CD mentioned above to C:\HFSLIP\SOURCE Ran the batch file again, followed the prompts, and ended up with a SOURCESS folder. Used CDIMAGE to create an ISO Installed on Virtual PC 2007 for testing. Found the install to go flawlessly. Windows XP shows SP3 and IE7 and WMP11 both run without any problems. Just wanted to pass along this information! Thanks, mechtn

  7. Thanks everyone for the work you've done to both the site and the forums! I'm running Windows XP Corp Edition at work and have around 100 machines to maintain. I used the same hardware to build almost all of them and wanted an easy way to reload a PC incase something went wrong. I followed the guides and created a Windows XP CD w/ SP2 slipstreamed and w/ all my drivers on the CD. Once the CD is in, it requires absolutely no interaction. This bad boy is going to save me a ton of time. Thanks!!!!
  8. Hey guys, I'm working on my first unattended cd that installs windows and the appropriate drivers for my motherboard (asus a7v600). I added these lines to my winnt.sif. OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\000_network;Drivers\001_audio;Drivers\002_raid;Drivers\003_usb" DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore I created a folder called $OEM$\$1\Drivers and then created the following folders inside. 000_network 000_audio 002_raid 003_usb I copied the appropriate driver files directly into each folder and have tested them on an installation just from the CD (which works fine). There are no subfolders in the directories; the files are in the root of each different driver directory. The install of windows works great and doesn’t require any interaction at all. However the USB driver has not been updated to the USB2 driver and the Ethernet/raid/audio drivers are not installed at all. Does anyone have a suggestion that I should try to get this working? Thanks!
