  1. network connection service

    Could someone please help me, I have win Xp installed and iu also installed all patches from windows update. And now i want to configure a manual IP by entering the network properties, but when i open my network places properties was empty, so then i went to see services.msc and the service network connections was stop or havent started, so i tried to start it and it gave the error 127 procedure not found. and i think that is the problem why i cant see any local area connection or the network card that i have installed on my computer So my question is? does someone know what this error 127 is? or what can i Do? Do i need to reinstall win xp again? Thansk for your help. Vanderzan
