  1. My new Canon A510 camera’s software does not work on Win2k3. Under XP it works fine, and the software that came with the camera detects it just perfectly. Under Window 2003 Server, the software (CameraWindow and ZoomBrowser EX apps) says the following: Cannot detect camera. Check connection to camera, then retry. BTW, prior to installing the drivers and software pack, I had enabled and started the Windows Image Acquisition service since it was disabled by default. But that trick yielded no results except that the camera has been recognized as a WIA device. At the moment, the camera is accessible only via the Scanners and Cameras Control Panel applet, and I can see it as a disk drive in My Computer. The only thing I can do with it is downloading/upoading images and videos. I’m getting frustrated having to reboot to Windows XP each time I need to access my camera via Canon software. The guys from Canon said that Windows 2003 was not supported. But I’m sure there must be a registry key to change (or whatever) Any advices?
