  1. Ok, I'm really stuck here. My unattended CD now works on several systems including the Dell Workstation 380 ( ). Now, the 380 and 370 use the exact same driver (Dell's R99995.exe floppy image), yet I get a BSOD on the 370 with the "STOP: 0x0000007b..." error. If I try and use the floppy with F6, I get the message that the driver is already there/available. Anybody out there run into this problem? Anybody find a solution? Any clue on why this is happening? Thanks! UPDATE: Found and old image that was working, used that and checked the hardware IDs to make sure I had the right drivers. The hardware IDs match. I downloaded the RAID drivers from Intel (which suports a few more devices than the Dell drivers), told the OS to use the floppy drivers over the ones it wants on the CD and now I get a message saying that there are no drives in the system. (Yes, the RAID is set up and working) I guess it's a step up from the BSOD, but I'm still at a loss as to how to get it working... UPDATE #2: Ok... now I'm really confused. If I do a manual install with a normal XP CD, it works with those same drivers. Something in my unattended CD is causing this not to work and I have no idea where to even start looking. Any and all suggestions will be really appreciated!!
  2. D'oh! Found it. /ga switch.
  3. You can also try burning the CD at a lower speed. If you have a batch of cruddy media, or if the drive is starting to go, this can help.
  4. Hey there! I'm sure this is a pretty simple question, but I wasn't able to find the answer... or just missed it. How would I go about installing printers for all users? As I have it now, the printers install from runonce, but only for the Admin. Once another user logs in, there are no printers available. Thanks!
  5. 5 days and no reply? Well, thanks for nothing.
  6. Anybody? Dell's re-build disc works fine, so I'm thinking that it has to be a driver order issue.
  7. Ok, I found that the driver is there, but so is the Intel driver and that seems to be the default. Any idea on how I can make the Adaptec driver the one that XP uses for the RAID?
  8. Hey all! Newb here... and so far, so good on my first few attempts at an Unattended CD but I need to know how to force a certain driver to install before other drivers. My problem is that on our new Dell Workstation 470s, the Intel Chipset drivers seem to install before the Adaptec SATA drivers. Normally, this isn't a problem, but the chipset RAID driver doesn't work right and the RAID is never seen by XP. (Hardware sees it fine). Even using the latest drivers that Dell has posted doesn't work. Now, when I force XP to use the Adaptec driver (Letting XP find it doesn't work.. says it already has the best driver) XP seen the RAID. How can I make sure that the correct driver gets installed? Thanks very much! Oh, I'm using the most current driverpacks from Bashrat on the CD and the 470 has the Adaptec Embedded Serial ATA HostRAID Controller with the Intel E7525 chipset.
