I don't think the motherboard as anay failure with bad caps. Perhaps I could raise the processors Vcore?! When I installed WinXP on the same system there was no problem! No crashes on install and none while running benchmarks and so on. *wired*

Hi guys, I wanted to install Win98SE on the following system: Gigabyte GA-6BXC Pentium III 450MHz 256MB Ram (2x 64 & 1x 128) GeForce 4 MX-440 6,5GB Maxtor HDD Liteon CD-Writer (opt. LAN-Card, Soundcard) I startet the installation with few different parameter-settings and everytime the GUI-Install is reached, the time of installation is displayed and I click the "OK"-Button the Setup locks up. The process bar in the middle of the screen reaches 100% and about 5 seconds later I'll get a black bar in the screen center. I tried every combinating of RAM-Modules and removed all addon-cards, but allways get the same failure. What can I do?
