yes i did, is there no way of rectifying this? Or will i have to reinstall?

I can't seem to get secondary logon service to run, it is not listed in services.msc and i have tried to cahnge the value to the correct one in the registry but i can't seem to get it working. This is what happens when i try to use 'Run as' on a .exe file: And this is what happens when i try to install postgres, which is what i really need to do: Any help would be greatly appreciated. i had a similar problem where the setup would allow me to format the drives but then wouldn't go any further, it turned out to be a motherboard problem, i got a replacement and it worked fine.
