  1. I was always curious as to what the "H" stood for in HKEY... was it Hot Key? It actually stands for Handle Key. More of a programming term than anything else.
  2. Hello. My first post here! The info in these forums is very useful. I read with interest the cmdlines.txt thread: http://www.MSFN.org/board/index.php?showto...129&hl=cmdlines Thanks for the great explanation. Just 1 question regarding cmdlines: If you want to run files from the current working directory (i.e. usually D:\$OEM$), is it really necessary to include the ".\"? For instance, most examples I have seen look like: [COMMANDS] ".\INSTALLS.CMD" but I have also see things like [COMMANDS] "INSTALLS.CMD" To me, the ".\" is superfluous, but I'm thinking there must be a reason why people are using it... 2nd question: reducing the sysprep size... Prior to installing our image on different hardware, we follow the sysprep process. During this process, we copy the i386 structure into the \sysprep folder. Obviosly this increases the image size by several hundred MB and is counterproductive w.r.t. attempts to reduce image size. Assuming we have installed all components we need into the existing XP setup (including language components e.g. Chinese support), and sysprep is not going to be asked to install any additional components, I think I can safely NOT copy most of the i386 structure into \sysprep... but has anyone done any work on this aspect? I haven't tested this yet but intend to do so and wish to copy as little of i386 as possible. Many thks in advance Graham Marsh Hong Kong
