Interesting. I've a few of those cards installed here for RAID 0 arrays on the older (well, not really older, just not SATA) workstations. I have not had any issues with their installations. The only difference between your setup and my 3rd workstation is your Intel 82865 chipset, as opposed to my nForce 2 Ultra 400.

It worked fine for me, and I didn't have to do anything fancy. MCE specific graphics drivers haven't made me happy lately: Hmm... Not exactly what I would like to see in the release notes for the driver I might want to use.

DVDlab Pro with TMPGenc. Although I would go with AviSynth, QuEnc, BeSweet and not pay a dime.

First, I would never vote for anything produced by Symantec. Too many horrible experiences. Second, why isn't AntiVir listed? No love for German engineering eh?
