  1. Can someone please help? I have tried everything I can think of...
  2. Looks like I am the only one who has experienced this problem...
  3. Hello - I posted this topic in the Windows XP forum and did not have any responses.. I need help as I do not have a clue what else to try appart from what I have already done... Any suggestions, would be appreciated. I am running Windows XP Home, SP2. I have MSN Messenger 7.0 and have started experiencing an issue with viewing webcam of person I am chatting with. The other person does not have an issue with viewing my cam. This has always worked properly and has only started being an issue the past couple of days. Issue - When requesting contacts Webcam, the viewer loads a Grey Screen for about 30 seconds and then closes, saying unable to connect to xxxxx webcam or xxxxx has stopped viewing webcam with you. My cam window still remains active and the other person is able to see me fine. What I have done to troublshoot: - Used same LAN connection and connected with a laptop running Windows 2k. Everything worked fine. This eliminates any issues with my Firewall or possible bandwidth issues in receiving the broadcast. It also eliminates possibility of something on their end blocking the transmission. - I have removed hardware Acceleration - No luck - Uninstalled MSN 7.0 and Installed MSN Messenger Version 7.5 - No luck - I have done a system restore back to two weeks when it was working previously - No luck - I have run MS Anti-Spyware and detected none - Closed all programs on my System tray, including MS Anti Spyware and Norton - No luck - I am able to view AVI files or DVD etc with no issues. - Windows Firewall has been dissabled I am really puzzled by this as it always worked before and doing a system restore to a point when it worked, should rule out any conflicts... Also, the Laptop using the same connection did work, so the only difference would be the Operating System or other software on the operating system. Can it be a conflict between something specific running on the PC at the other end (broadcaster) and something on my XP box? I would appreciate any suggestion any of you might have. Thanks,
