  1. Awesome, that took care of that prolem. Now, any advice on how to easily allow the other pc's internet access through the server?
  2. If I remove the gateway on the lan nic will it still allow the other computers to still access the server?
  3. OK, im a bit of an NT newbie, but I have a small problem. A customer has a server with NT4.0 and 8 other pc's with os ranging from 98 to xp hooked up to the server via a hub. Now they just had high speed internet connected to the server. The server uses a static ip and is connected straight to the router/modem combo. Now in order to connect to the network hub too a 2nd nic had to be installed. After the install of the 2nd nic the internet does not work. The ip, subnet mask, and gateway are all correct. It is trying to use the proper nic as well. The 2nd nic installed for the hub is working fine all pc's have access to the server's files. So any thought on why all of a sudden the internet is flaking out on me? I have tried all that i know how to do. Also once internet is restored any ideas on the easiest way to allow the other 8 pc's internet access through the server? Thanks a TON for any thought or input here.
  4. Nevermind, it wasn't anything wrong. Just Virtual PC limits the ISO's you can mount to a maximum of 2 gig's. I will re-post after the dvd is done which is soon. Luck to us all!!
  5. Hi there, I recently took on the task of making my own multiboot dvd as the idea was so inviting to me, not having to carry around "the book" of cd's any more. Anyways, here is my small problem, up untill now I have been using Virtual Pc to test my iso after each OS has been added. Everything has been fine and all are working except after adding server 2003, and making the iso to test, virtual pc now comes up with an error when I try to capture the iso image. It says, "Cd Image is invalid, a cd image must be at least 2mb's and in increments of 2000k" or something along the lines of that. Not sure why the size of my iso is important to Vpc as it hasnt been a problem untill now. Thanks for any info and suggestions sent my way. Also, forgot to add, I am using Cdimage to create the iso.
