Thanks for your responses Guys, I'd already tried F8 on bootup and last known config, but it did exactly the same on reboot! Also tried chdsk /r which did'nt do the trick either! No resigned to doing a rebuild on the weekend! Cheers
Help! Am receiving the following message on Boot Up: " Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \Windows\system32\config\system. You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup cd-rom Select r at the first sreen to start repair" I have done this and ran bootfix but the problem remains exactly the same! Any ideas out there please would be much appreciated.... Cheers Scouser
