  1. would you guys recomment nLite or manual way? and whats the best way to test? vmware?
  2. I made an unnatended XP install a year ago (manual method). It took me 3 weeks to make and a lot of hair loss during it. I now require a new CD due to upgrades to my PC. For the past 2 weeks i have been attempting to use the guides and nLite with little sucess. The problem is, I don't have enough time to read the guide and implement it in the same day, meaning by the time i get around to doing a stage i have forgotten what to do and have to start over. I would like some assistance creating my DVD with as small steps as possible a day at a time making it easier on myself, This could even become an ultimate n00b guide This is what i would "like" to do 1. Change the look of the install and perhaps some of the text during install? 2. Change the XP wallpapers to personal ones 3. Change XP boot screen and log on screen 4. Any other visual tweaks that can be made 5. Remove I.E and replace with firefox 6. Set up email accounts & broadband dial up auto 7. Install all drivers Along with the following programs 1. Sidebar 2. Peergaurdian 2 3. PowerDVD 4. VLC Player 5. Winamp 6. Dreamweaver 7. Bitlord 8. Steam (+ mods) 9. Firefox 10. Winrar 11. Nero 6 12. MSN 7.5 13. Photoshop 14. Select office programs (word, excell, frontpage etc) 15. MSN Plus And drivers 1. Abit NF7-S motherboard drives (inc sata) 2. Soundblaster live 5.1 3. Radeon 9800 AIW (only display driver and TV) 4. Wifi driver (belkin tbc) 5. Pentax optio s drivers So would anyone care to help (PLEASE) I'll be doing this the manual way i assume meantime i'll begin stage 1 - copying contents of XP CD to folder on hard drive.
