  1. You talking to me? Or the thread creator? I would say it has nothing to do with that. WFP is something that only activates after you install, not while your installing.
  2. Are these fixes going into 5.1 SR-1 ? I just downloaded the file from softpedia and looked for the errors you pointed out and I found them in the dosnet.inf file. If you wouldn't mind could you post instructions on exactly what I need to change to fix the syntax problem, the add/remove issue, and the [Label] problem you mentioned earlier. Thank you!
  3. I only say generic becuase it works with any WLAN card that has an atheros chip inside. I modified the INF not too long ago to include the PCI ID's of every Atheros WLAN card I could find, so people could just point to it and it would find it. Unfortunately I had a recent HD crash and lost the work I did. This was the original package I started with though, and it still works with all of the Atheros chipsets, you just have manually select it for install. If I have some time I will modify the INF again (but I am dreading digging up all the PCI ID's again)... For example, I use these drivers on my netgear wifi cards, they work much better than the original 3 year old netgear drivers. Btw, I am an insane driver collector, and I have many modified drivers from my past. Where I edit the INF's to include other compatible cards from other vendors. If you would like, I can post links to every newer version I find. I would love to help out with your project since I do this anyway as a hobby. I am not a good programmer though, and if you can, or can find someone, who can write a script to list driver revision numbers next to each driver name I would gladly start updating.
  4. Here is a driver update for ya.... atheros generic v4.1.102.1095 http://rapidshare.de/files/6036428/Atheros...2.1095.zip.html I know rapidshare sucks but its not my link, and it works anyway. whoops! Sorry, meant to post this in WLAN not here, can you move it for me? I have no move privelage.
