  1. Hi, I'm trying to roll out outlook 2003 in our office, and I'd like to create an unattended install with all the services packs and updates in one go. But I can only find office 2003 unattended setups and integration of sp's etc.. My outlook 2003 only has SETUP.EXE OUTLS11.MSI in the root folder, so applying msiexec /p C:\SP2\MAINSP1ff.msp /a C:\Outlook2003\PRO11.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb doesn’t work. Any help would be great! Thanks, arden
  2. Thanks baywatch, I'll give that a go. Regards, arden
  3. Hi, I've created my Unattended XP CD and would like to tweak it a little, one of the thinks I'm looking to do is have remote desktop enabled by default but I'm not sure what I need to do. Please advise. Regards, arden
  4. I don't have to but its the way we set up our users computers, it's all politics as you can guess with the management and IS, I'm just trying to make things a little easier for myself by making the unattended CD. There are many reasons for not using different groups etc, and this way we find the best for our needs. Regards, arden
  5. Hi, thanks for the info, I'll give it a go. RogueSpear I ment adding the users domain account to the local machine so they will be administrators of that machine, otherwise they can't log into the computer if there account is not set up on that computer. arden
  6. Hi, My Unattended XP install works fine, and it add's me to my domain alright, but I would like to add 2 users to the process also as administrators on the local machine. These 2 users will be the same all the time, (Domain Administrators). As the domain administrator password is already giver inorder to join the computer to the domain I shouldn't think it would be that hard to add 2 users, but I'm unsure as to where to start. Any help would be great! Regards, arden
  7. Hi all, I've just come across this new program AutiIt and like it very much. Although I'm still only able to do the very basic stuff and have a very basic understanding of how it works. For the past few days I've been trying to update a script for Spybot to run it’s startup configuration after installing the program, but I'm having lots of problems, and was wondering if anyone could help me resolve the issue, here my script SpyBotsd14.au3 Line 173 is where the configuration begins I have commented out lines like ;ControlClick("Spybot-S&D Wizard", "" , "TToolBar1") cause they don’t seem to be the buttons that require clicking to move on. I have WinActivate("Spybot-S&D Wizard") because the focus seems to jump from window to window when updating the program. and at line 209 these are 2 windows that the Microsoft AntiSpyware program pops up asking about the teatimer and spybot registry updaes. The thing is, I get as far as searching for updates and then things start to go wrong. Any help would be great!! Also, How might I click a button if I only have the buttons 'Control ID' and when using WinWaitActive() how might I use the 'Control ID' with that incase the window doesn’t have a Title. I'd prefer to work with Control Id's instead of Title’s or even both to make sure I have the right windows. Thanks!!! Regards, arden
