Thx for answer. I have no mdac.exe in HF-Folder, only this new hotfix and i´m using hfslip_April 1. I´ve found a mdac.exe in svcpack-folder after hfslip has finished the job. I´m using German W2k.

I have a problem with this Hotfix http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...F2-F87B717372FB I tried to make a new Cd with W2kSP4 and during setup at T13 (i think) there come a infoscreen that mdac Setup requires switshes like /quiet, /norestart and so on. Can i get some help, please?

Hi. Do you use ie6 or ie6sp1, theres a great differenz between this versions!!! The error-report ist in sourcess folder and in the folder where you have hfslip files and folders. Please send the error report.

I´ve found it! I installed a selfcreated Codecpack for Audio- and Videofiles in which i have packed the Version 9 wmp.dll. This mistake is homemade.

Hi. I´ve read about this problem in two other forums. They came to the End that it is impossible installing net 2.0 at T12 or T 13. They prefer the installation with a switchless installer at the first logon via GuiRunonce in Winnt.sif. Thats what i´ve read about, i´ve never tried cause i don´t use it.

Thx for your answer. Thats why i´m confused. I have no WMP9 hoftfix in HFfolder. Read the KB-Article of 911565. Searched for Wmp.dll and found a version 9.00.003250 wmp.dll in system 32 folder. Where does it come from? I really have no WMP 9 Hotfix or WMP 9 installed on this System.

Hi. MS Patchday.....so i go to WU and looked for W2k-updates. I have a German W2kSP4 with IE6SP1 and all fixes (thanks Tomcat for his site), without WMP9. But, WU tried to install the Hotfix kb911565 for WMP9. Anyone knows why???

On nlite page are error with the new version on different languages reported. Seems, we are not alone. Fixes will be available after the holidays.
