@ kiki Strange thing, all lines are black!?

After a long time without the need to build a source for installing, i´m forced to make it now. So, i want use the delcat=1 Option in hfanswer.ini. But i need modded Sfc*.dll files for xpsp3. Are there anyone in the mood, to tell me how i can do it, please?

Using the new agent installs a new muauth.cab. Seems, hfslip 1.7.8 isn´t able to work with.

Tc, i hope you are well. After a HD-crash i have to rebuild my hfslip-folders, but my youngest backup is from may 2008. Are you able to refresh your update lists?? It could be a great help.

I made a Testinstall XPSP3 german without IE7 and WMP x, only current Hofixes by hfslip 2.0.0pa build 80611a and added drivers by nlite. Works great. btw, i don´t include installer 4.5, MS update don´t ask for or offer it.

@ tc i´ve found it. My husband ( ) changed in HFEXPERT\PROGRAMFILES "foxitreader.exe" with the newer "Foxit Reader.exe". Renamed it, al works fine. Have a nice day.

@ tc I´m wondering. I use the same folder and files as before sp3. I don´t integrate ie7. Maybe that´s the prob??? I´ll test again. Thx.

German final SP3 is out. Builded a fresh CD without any addons and installedd it. All went fine and then goin to WU. It installed Legitcheckcontrol.dll, MuAuth.cab and WGA proofingtool (kb892130) and offfers ie7, MaliciousSoftwaretool as important, net2.0, wmp11, rootsupdate for optional download. I added Legitcheck, MuAuth.cab in HFCABS, Net2.0 Silentinstaller in HFSVCPACK, rootsupdate and Malicious Software in HF, some little Progs to HFEXPERT\ProgramFiles and run the latest hfslip rc. Installation went fine, but after first logon i see that ie6, mediaplayer and other are incomplete installed. So i experimented a time and found that i have to put the netinstaller to HFGUIRUNONCE, and delete HFEXPERT\ProgramFiles, to get an complete installation. WU installled again some files (couldn´t locate them ) and shows ie7 and wmp11 for download. So, why is it impossible to add files via HFEXPERt\ProgramFiles? I do so before SP3 without any Poblems.

Does hfslip have the continuing ability to handle unpacked dx9**.dll? A look to TCs list shows that he has deleted the entries in HFCABS-list for W2kSP4. THX. I´m asking because i´ve had installation failure of directx files after first logon. Problem solved.

Couldn´t wait, i did it. Deleted my Regtweaks, no success. Deleted hole hfslip folder and downloading all necessary files and thats it. Seems one or two files are "out of order".

Hmm...... A XPSP2 german without KB946627 is running well and with included Malicious Dezember 07 WU only offers the excluded KB file. Trying to test without my Regtweaks, i think there´s the Prob. THX for Answer. See ya next year.

Hi Tried several times to build a new CD with german XPSP2 including the two Hotfixes KB946627 and KB942840. All installation went fine but after finishing and login always the IE Icons are broken and IE.exe quit with error message. Are these Horfixes critical, important or optional? Can anyone give a little help?

Hi to all, i´ve had a strange but funny message by Microsoft Update. After i have build a fresh XPSP2-CD / German, i installed a virt PC to see if there are any issues. Goin to Microsoft Update, the Update -Site tried to install: KB946627, KB942840 and Malicious Software Tool released May 2007 and Dezember 2007. So there are two questions: 1. Are the KB-Files supported by hfslip? 2. Why tried WU installing two Malicious tools? A Friend of mine told me same thing happend with a fresh W2KSP4 German. Strange or Funny, that is the question, i think?! I´ve tried to build a CD with KB946627 and KB942840, install went fine, but after GUI logon IE-Icons Broken and IE-Exe quit with error message.

Used current Testrelease to build XPSP2 German-CD. Starting installation and textcopy-mode ok, Installation goes well until registering files (T13?). There it shows missing parameter for msiexec 3 times. Any ideas? hfsliplog attached. Reused a CD builded with the final 1.6.1. No errors at all. It was builded without timezone.cmd and .cab in hftools. Timezone update Hotfix in HF. rebuilded. It was the space..... silly mistake. Btw, is there a way to jump over this point of hflsip processing?. I do not use Multiboot. HFSLIP_log.ZIP

Used current version of snm to build merged installer of german .net 1.1/2.0 including new updates. Installed with w2kSp4 german. Wu shows nothing. Great work, guys!

Canged the Rootsupdate in W2kSP4 hf and rebuilded the cd. Wu is happy. 070705a works great with german XPSP2 and W2KSP4. I used 070707a to build a XPSP2 CD with slipstreamend IE7. Works great for me. WU shows nothing. THX a lot for your work.
