I have tried it on 3 different machine but it still won't work..........

I am new to this forumn so I'm not sure if I am doing it right. Just bought a hard drive in an external casing, connects via USB, computer finds hardware, listed in device manager which states it is working properly, driver ok, but it does not appear in "My Computer"
