    SP1.1060 and DOJ

Yup, as mentioned by LS_Dragons and Qba73, you can't uninstall those even if you wanted to. In effect the changes are merely cosmetic. What lies under the hood remains the same, they still take up hard disk space. And in reply to AaronXP, well don't f*ck the DOJ. They have already settled and are now chummy chummy with MS. It is the remaining 9 dissenting states plus the state of Colombia (I think) who are taking the trial further. If the judge rules that hey, the previous settlement agreement is good enough, you dissenting guys don't make any sense, then that's about it. But if the judge rules that the previous agreement is not good enough, then that's when the DOJ comes back into the picture, and you can f*ck them then if you want to.
  2. Hi Do you use the *extra* features provided by your exchange mailbox, e.g. Calendar, Journal, Notes, Tasks? If you do, then you're probably stuck with Outlook, as no other mail client support these Exchange features (based on my research, that is). If you don't, then you're probably free to try out other mail clients. I've heard that Pegasus Mail is pretty powerful but haven't used it myself. Below are links to some pages that discuss about accessing Exchange mailboxes: http://www.nusnet.nus.edu.sg/exchange/IntroRemote.htm http://www.utexas.edu/cc/nt/exchange/exchange_clients.html http://www.nwfusion.com/newsletters/gwm/2001/00556992.html
  3. Hi everyone, Not sure if this question is appropriate in this forum (MS Office), but since OpenOffice.org (OOo in short) is also an office suite, I thought I'd post the question here. I've been using the program for a week or so already and am quite impressed. Does anyone else have good or bad words to say about this program?
  4. Read the tweak below elsewhere but haven't tested them myself. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesVxDMSTCP create a new String called "MaxConnections" (without the quotes).
