  1. Wow, that is.. a lot of, well, white. Interesting, as it seems that mshta is launching wpi, but not displaying anything. Do you get any errors? Check the process in your task manager.. is it taking up any cpu? Becuase besides that, I can't think of why it is doing this.

  3. I was saying your method of installation was weird, but effective. I didn't mean weird persay, more of an "Hmm.. thats interesting" sort of thing As for the network config, I'm quite sure you could use a script. Batch scripting would be a little bit hard, but quite possible. You could use Autoit, or something else. I'm not quite sure how, but it should be quite possible. You could even have it run from the wpi.cmd, and configure settings there. I'm almost positive you can _set_ net settings from a batch file, but as for custom ones.. I think its possible with choice.exe, but that would be hard, and would have to be included with each install. Let me get back to you after I do some digging.
  4. Whoah, that is a wierd install proccess. I would suggest simplifying it a bit. If for example, you want to have three different options, just make the same entry for the same program, just three times with a different switch or two, and make sure that they grey out the other choices. That would be the easiest I think.
  5. Mind posting your WPI.cmd? Also, where is your wpi.hta located on your hdd/cd?
  6. Actually not to sound picky, but this is about the second week I have spent not sleeping trying to get everything to work perfect, and as it is, WPI is the last thing left. So... well... could I become a beta tester for 5.0? :):) I'll sign an NDA and everything! I know how it is to feel like everyone is bugging you, so I will get off your case But thanks for the help and everything so far.

  8. You have to make sure your CDs _both_ have cd.txt or whatever id file you want on them. After that, you have to either take out the cmdow @ hid line, or add your custom check for correct cd line before it. Something like this: REM Example, how to look for CDROM-drive. Must have CD.txt at the root of the CD. for %%i in (C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z) do if exist %%i:\CD.txt set CDROM=%%i: if exist %cdrom%\cd.txt goto exists goto notexists :exists if exist %cdrom%\cd1.txt goto cd1 goto cd2 :cd1 rem The commands for CD1 go on the next line goto exit :cd2 rem The commands to be executed for CD2 go on the next line goto exit :exit rem Put any commands (such as cleanup and the like) on the next line exit After that, your good to go! ~~HH
  9. Hey, I have this same problem, is there any way I could fix this without going back to 4.5? Or would you mind telling me the code that I can remove to get it to work so I don't have to hunt? I mean, I will hunt till I find it or get a reply, but I would appreciate it if you could explain it a bit
  10. I have happen to be sort of in charge of how we set up a new computer lab. However, there is something special about this particular lab. It is a joint effort between many people, but I seem to be involved slightly in all of it. The most of my worries however, is in the software. We have plenty of useable hardware, all waiting to be reloaded. I have the unattended CD all done, and all I need now is the software. This lab is going to need to be used for for visually impared. What software do you suggest I make room for, or that I might be needing special equipment? I have taken a lot out of my CD, but I can remake it quite quickly. I only took bloat and graphics stuff out, but nothing about accesibility and useability. What can you guys suggest for me?

Hey guy, my first time posting around these parts I updated (err, hacked through in five mins really really badly) the "Royale" theme, so that we could all have a little cooler looking wpi, and have it work with 4.X, not to mention it really looks good with XPize I didn't bother to get the audio playing in it.. sorry Royale Screenshot DOWNLOAD HERE
