  1. Thanks for your reply. I have tried everything I know to uninstall or delete the folder in the program files folder titled "microsoft frontpage". Inside that folder is a second folder titled "version3.0" inside that folder is a folder titled "bin". Inside the "bin" folder are two files with the extension ".exe". The folders are "read only" I have tried to change the attrib of all three folders to remove the "read only" attrib. I tried it using the windows properties tab but it would not let me change the attrib. I tried using dos to change attrib and then delete. Does said it did delete them but in fact it did not. I ran ccleaner and register fix to remove all office references in the register. Nothing has changed I still get the same error message. I think if I could get rid of the frontpage folder I might could reinstall Office 2003 and frontpage. I even tried going to the "bin" folder and then delete the exe files. When I click delete on the first file it leaves the screen for about 10 seconds and then pops back on. This happens with both files. Still need more things to try. Thanks very much.
  2. Office 2003 professional with frontpage installed and running fine until I got the little icon telling me that I needed up update. Clicked ok to download and install updates. Got message installation unsuccessful. Downloads involved were kb885828, kb887890 and kb902953. When I shut down the computer I got a message telling me the updates were being installed. This occurred 3 or 4 days in a row. I thought my program had been corrupted so I did an uninstall. Got message that said uninstall successful. Next I tried to reinstall and the following error message: error signature event type: office11setup P1:(91110409-6000-11d308cfe0150048483c9) P2: 11.05614.0 P3: startcache P4: 0 P5: x P7: x. I find in my programs folder no folders for microsoft office however ther is a folder that says microsoft frontpage. Frontpage was suppose to have been uninstalled. What do you suggest I do to to get Office 2003 professional and frontpage so it will reinstall?
