  1. I’ve got a Windows 2003 server (standalone) running IIS. The default website sits at c:\inetpub\wwwroot\home\ The server is using an IP multicast protocol and has two (2) LAN IP addresses (192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.100). If I open up a browser on the server and browse to http://localhost/home/default.htm I see the website just fine. If I replace “localhost” with any of the following, 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.2, or 192.168.1.100, I am prompted for a username/password. Interestingly, none of the local accounts work for this login prompt. What I’ve tried so far: 1) Confirmed read/execute permissions for iusr account on \inetpub\wwwroot\home\ 2) Tried specifying an IP in the default website properties (instead of leaving as all unassigned) 3) Tried removing the second IP (192.168.1.100) from the multicast protocol. None of these things have resolved the problem.
