Hi all you f-prot users. First Post! Found a way to get this thing (3.16c) to go silent with the scheduler. Just got to edit the registry a bit before and a bit after install. Bit clunky but I don't find the scheduler as annoying as some do so here goes. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FRISK Software International\F-SCHED\Settings] "RunExpiredTasks"=dword:00000000 "RunOnStartUp"=dword:00000000 "ShowIcon"=dword:00000000 will stop the scheduler from starting up after install using the extracted installer files: ...\setup.exe /HIDDEN Then just use an edit of the same regfile with the dword values at 00000001 to reset the scheduler to start on reboot etc That **** /NORUN switch is bogus IMO and I tried running the /IMPORT=xxxx.xxx and /IMPORTREG=xxxx.xxx switches but they don't seem to work. The switches are here if anybody is bored. I run both my regfiles from RunOnceEx.cmd (offsched.reg before apps and onsched.reg after the apps) Hope this helps someone else
