  1. Ok, I used vLite to create a custom Vista install. I removed Media Center, and now decided I could actually use it. Is there a way I can install just Media Center from my untouched install disc without having to reinstall windows?
  2. nuhi: yes, if i use just that dvd, it works fine. i haven't removed the component cache from the vLte install. The file structure oi n that DVD is the same as a Vista Install DVD, as far as can tell. I wonder why it wion't work properly with it.
  3. tried again with the same result. any suggestions?
  4. Ok, I finally broke down and bought a new laptop. It has Vista installed, but I want to do a fresh install using vLite. Dell sends out a recovery DVD with it's laptops that has the Windows Vista OS on it. How can I use that DVD to make a vLite install DVD? I tried to make one, and the vLite program works and burns, but when I try to boot the DVD, I get an error message about a component being missing.
