Thanks, MDGx, but those instructions seem a little daunting to me I found the file Logo.sys on my PC under C:\...can't I just delete (or move) that file, rename one of the splash screens you provided above in the link to "Logo.sys" (no quotes), and "park" it under C:\ ??... Then, when Windows starts, it would look for the logo.sys file that is there, and use it? This is probably too simple to work, but wanted to ask before I try your linked suggestion... Thanks for the help! Matt
