I had this set to 'Normal' in the nlite setup at first, and then later changed it to flat. Now attempting to change it back to 'Normal' in the nlite setup doesn't do anything, so I was wondering if there was a way to change this via the registry. I can't seem to find anything for it via search.

I seem to have only Windows Media Player under the Windows Components section in that window... hmm.. edit: i managed to find a partial workaround that'll meet my needs... thanks anyway!

hmm - not on a domain, but a workgroup (don't know if that makes a difference). could you elaborate on the local policy thing? i googled for a bit, and got this Security Console going, but I have no idea what to do in there - i don't even know if this is the thing you're talking about heh.

Hey all... I somehow lost the My Documents and Shared Documents icons above the Hard Drive icons in My Computer: you know, the Documents icons above the Hard Disk drives? yea. does anyone know how to get them back? thanks

Hey all. Trying to make my first unattended XP cd, and I've managed to work out all the kinks after numerous trial and errors. Except for one thing. I really wanted the Shared Documents in My Computer and the My Music/Pictures folder in My Documents gone, so I added in the tweaks to make them disappear in my tweaks.reg file like so: ; Disable My Music & My Pictures Folder [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoSMMyMusic"=dword:00000001 ; Remove Shared Documents from My Computer [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoSharedDocuments"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoSharedDocuments"=dword:00000001 [- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders\{5 9031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}] now, the My Music/Pictures folder in My Documents is gone, and so is the My Shared Documents from My Computer. but the link to My Documents is gone from My Computer as well (which is something I don't want happening). Are one of these tweaks doing this? Or is it something else (I've browsed through rest of my tweaks, and can't seem to find anything that would do this...). Is there some other registry tweak that lets me ADD My Documents back to My Computer? thanks.
